Returns & Refunds

Last Updated

This policy applies to ErgoMouse orders placed through our website and Shopify checkout for delivery in South Africa.

Damaged, Incorrect, Or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, dead-on-arrival, or develops a suspected factory fault, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details.

Where a valid defect is confirmed, we will handle the matter in line with applicable South African consumer law and may arrange a replacement as required.

7 day Defect Protection

For consumer purchases in South Africa, defective goods may qualify for remedies under the Consumer Protection Act during the statutory implied warranty period. This does not cover faults caused by misuse, abuse, liquid damage, accidental damage, unauthorised repairs, or normal wear.

Change Of Mind After 7 Days

Change-of-mind returns are not automatically guaranteed. You may still contact us and we will consider the request fairly, especially if the product is unused, complete, and in resalable condition.

Inspection And Outcome

Returned products are inspected before a final remedy is confirmed. If no defect is found, or if the issue appears to be caused by misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repair, or normal wear, we may return the product to you or decline the replacement to the extent permitted by law.

How To Start A Return

Email support@ergomouse.co.za with your order number, delivery date, reason for the return, and clear photos or video if the item is damaged or faulty.

Important Notes

  • Please do not send a product back before we confirm the return instructions.
  • Returns must include the product, supplied accessories, and order reference so we can identify and assess the item.
  • Keep your courier packaging until you have checked the product.
  • If you arrange your own return courier, package the item securely and keep proof of handover and tracking.
  • Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable South African law.
