ErgoMouse is responsible for the personal information it decides to collect and use through this website, orders, delivery, warranty support, and customer service.

ErgoMouse sells a computer accessory and does not provide medical care. Please do not send medical records, diagnosis information, identity documents, card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Where POPIA, GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on the appropriate lawful basis for each use.
Checkout is handled through Shopify at checkout.ergomouse.co.za. Shopify and enabled payment providers process payment and checkout information. ErgoMouse does not receive or store full card numbers.
Shopify may collect checkout, device, fraud-prevention, and payment-related data according to Shopify's own privacy terms and the settings enabled in the Shopify store.
We do not currently use third-party analytics tags, advertising pixels, newsletter forms, or onsite tracking cookies on the ErgoMouse website.
The cart uses your browser's local storage to remember cart quantity. You can clear it by emptying your cart or clearing site data in your browser. Shopify checkout may use cookies and similar technologies to provide checkout, payment, security, and customer privacy features.
We do not sell your personal information.
Some service providers, including Shopify and hosting or email providers, may process or store information outside South Africa. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual, operational, or legal safeguards for those transfers.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS, hosted payment processing, access controls, and operational security measures.
No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe your information or an ErgoMouse order has been affected by a security issue, contact us immediately.
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
South African users may also have rights under POPIA, including access and correction rights and the right to complain to the Information Regulator. EU and UK users may have GDPR or UK GDPR rights and may complain to their local data protection authority.

We do not currently run a newsletter signup on this website. If marketing email or SMS options are enabled through Shopify checkout, they should be optional and handled according to the preferences you choose there.
You can opt out of direct marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe option in the message or by contacting us.
This website is intended for customers who can lawfully buy consumer electronics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
We may update this policy when the website, checkout setup, service providers, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
